(cooking) Tasty Mac n Cheese

yup. I can cook.

Here’s my cheap and tasty Mac n Cheese recipe that takes little time to make and scales up for more than a single serving.

What you need for a single serving:
1\2 cup uncooked macaroni noodles (this is one serving according to box)
1 pot with water to cook the noodles in
1\4th cup milk (I use skim) (add extra 1\8th cup of milk for every extra serving)
1 pinch salt
2 TBSP butter (or margarine) (add extra TBSP per 2 extra servings)
2-3 slices of American cheese (for every extra serving, add extra slice of cheese up to 6 slices. Then add to taste.)

1: put water into a pot.

2: boil it.

3: Add noodles.

4: bring them to boil, add lid, turn off heat, cook to time specified on noodles box.

5: drain, do not rinse.

6: add butter, milk, cheese.

7: add heat (medium-low) and stir until cheese is melted and sauce is boiling.

8: stir in spices and enjoy.

That’s the easy way to make it. Want to make it for a whole family? Same idea, just up the ingredients a bit. It isn’t a 1:1 scale, but you’ll be able to tell by taste and consistency. (And I usually cook for myself, so I don’t know how well this scales)

Enjoy
